ABOUT PDR

What is Paintless Dent Removal?

Paintless Dent Removal is known as PDR among the business operators. It consists of an approach to vehicles body damages with repair methods that exclude the use of filler or paint. PDR is the fastest and and cheapest way for removing dents, creases, small dings and hail damage. It is a craft work, and although it can be arranged in an industrial way, it is only the individual skill of the technician who sets up to what level of severity can the damage be repaired by means of PDR, and KhS Group's technicians are among the best trained and most experienced in the world.

The Process:

A PDR technician uses different techniques and tools according to the type of damage. For example, with a special lever, he may execute a series of mild pushes from the bottom side of the damaged sheet and work the metal with a gentle massage in and around the dent. This will settle the depressions caused by hail impacts and will bring the metal's shape back to its original state.

 Benefits:

Paintless Dent Removal or PDR, offers many benefits in comparison with traditional body shop methods. In fact, PDR does not need any sanding, filling or repainting. This is why it is less expensive. Moreover the amount of time required for a PDR repair process is much lower so you will have your car back in 1-2 days (in most cases). And last but not least, PDR offers a repair quality that a traditional bodywork will never achieve. The Factory finish will not be harmed while removing dents and dings with PDR techniques and of course the results are far more durable, as the original factory condition, with regard to painting and lacquering, is not affected at all. With PDR, you can have you car back in a few days totally restored as the hail never hit it and without body shop "unpleasant secondary effects"!

Speed:

PDR does not include dead times or drying times, so instead of 7-to-14 days necessary with the traditional metods, it only takes 1 or 2 to complete the reapair process.

 Environmentally friendly:

PDR does not require any chemical product to fix car bodies and this results in a great advantage for the environment, which is thus preserved from harmful emissions and pollution.
